"On the Way to the Cabin" (2021) is a colored pencil drawing by Prague artist Marie Brožová. Created in her atelier, the original artwork is an A3 format piece, measuring 42 × 29.7 cm (16.5 × 11.7 inches).

She glances back at her grandparents, wondering why they walk so slowly when Saturday morning promises such a sunny day and the cabin is just a few steps away.
Hidden Details to Discover
Take a look at the cat in the wicker carrier. "When I was little, we didn't have a car. Even though our cabin was only 25 kilometers from Prague, every trip felt like an expedition to the North Pole. Our cat, Cookie, always came with us, carried by my grandfather in a wicker basket. Cookie hated the travel, but he loved being at the cabin so much that we could hardly get him to come back home," the artist recalls.
