"Birds of Passage" (2002) is a colored pencil drawing by Prague artist Marie Brožová. Created in her atelier, the original artwork is an A3-format piece, measuring 42 × 29.7 cm (16.5 × 11.7 inches).

The Story Behind the Art

Autumn has long since conquered the landscape and the birds of passage head for warmer lands, taking the red-haired girl's heart with them as she gazes toward the horizon. Beyond that horizon, she sees all the possibilities of the future waiting for her.
