"Magical Cauldron" (2012) is a colored pencil drawing by Marie Brožová, created live in public in Prague as part of her long-term project The Defense of Colored Pencils. The original artwork is an impressive A0 format, measuring 118.9 × 84.1 cm (46.8 × 33.1 inches). This piece is featured in the Celtic Year series.
The Story Behind the Art
Deep within a forest dragon’s cave, the Celtic goddess Cerridwen guards a magical cauldron. Into its depths, you may cast the worries and burdens you can no longer resolve through your own willpower. In this cauldron, negative energy is transformed into a pure force benefiting everyone, offering liberation from vicious cycles and untying the knots in your relationships.
