Rendezvous in Infinity (postcard)

"Rendezvous in Infinity" (2018) is a colored pencil drawing by Marie Brožová, created live in public at her famous Magic Pencil Gallery in the heart of Prague as part of her long-term project The Defense of Colored Pencils. The original artwork is an impressive A0 format, measuring 118.9 × 84.1 cm (46.8 × 33.1 inches).

If parallel lines truly meet in infinity, then surely kindred souls—destined never to touch in this world or this lifetime—will find each other there. This "rendezvous of parallels" at the very edge of the universe is a sacred space, where the impossible becomes real through the magic of dreams and the endless depths of imagination.

Nearby, another feline spirit rests gently upon the bed, which transforms into a sailboat carrying two kindred souls to their long-awaited meeting.
