"Northern Gateway to Infinity" (2025) is a colored pencil drawing by Prague artist Marie Brožová. Created in her atelier, the original artwork is an A3 format piece, measuring 42 × 29.7 cm (16.5 × 11.7 inches).
The Story Behind the Art
At the very edge of the world, a black stallion appears, his mane woven from Northern Lights, his back glittering with winter constellations. He gazes upon a cosmic harbor where souls depart on ships, sailing into the eternal void.
Interesting Details
Marie Brožová drew inspiration from Norse legends of Sleipnir, Odin’s mythical horse, who can travel between all nine worlds connected by the cosmic tree Yggdrasil.
