"Way Back Home" (2005) is a colored pencil drawing by Prague artist Marie Brožová. Created in her atelier, the original artwork is an A3-format piece, measuring 42 x 29.7 cm (16.5 x 11.7 inches).

A cyclist returns home through a winter landscape, happy and grateful to have a place to return to. His journey acts as a bridge between life experience and childhood naivety. It is hard to be better than the state in which we came into this world, but it is very easy to be worse. No matter how far we may wander, the way home – to our true, original self – always leads in the right direction.
