"Snow White" (2015) is a colored pencil drawing by Marie Brožová, created live in public in Prague as part of her long-term project The Defense of Colored Pencils. The original artwork is an impressive A0 format, measuring 118.9 x 84.1 cm (46.8 x 33.1 inches).
The Story Behind the Art
Snow White steps out of her cottage into a moonlit winter night, with a candle in hand, to welcome the dwarves returning home from work. Barely larger than a cat, they are most curious about what’s for dinner. A treacherous little apple glimmers in the snow.
