"Melusine" (2005) is a colored pencil drawing by Prague artist Marie Brožová. Created in her atelier, the original artwork is an A3 format piece, measuring 42 × 29.7 cm (16.5 × 11.7 inches).

On a snowy winter night, a comet in the sky announces the arrival of Christmas. Cozy, orange-lit windows pierce the darkness while the wind hums its haunting song down the chimneys. Invisible to all but a small, startled black kitten, the cold wind spirit Melusina gently brushes the cat's coat. Yet, there is no danger; those sharp, protective claws offer perfect safety.
