„Our home always looked like a bookstore—or rather, some hidden, dusty secondhand bookshop. The entire house overflowed with books of all genres, from rare art monographs to paperback detective novels. In my uncle's room, you could only walk through narrow pathways between towering walls of books, and in my dad's studio, an entire wall was covered from floor to ceiling. Books became my gateway to other worlds long before I learned to read. I was fascinated by the illustrations, using them to weave my own stories. Truth be told, during my childhood, a book without pictures was a rare sight indeed." 

MAB grew up in a family with a deep literary tradition, and to this day, she views a beautifully crafted book as a true work of art. While preparing her first book project, Tarot in Poems, she quickly realized that no commercial publishing house would release it with the high quality she envisioned. Refusing to be discouraged by the industry trend of "print cheap, sell dear," she decided to bypass the mainstream book business entirely. Together with her husband, she founded her own independent publishing house. To date, they have published ten book titles, several of which have gone through multiple editions. Their first foray into English is the children’s book Where the Sun Lies – Bedtime Stories about the Weather.
