Marie Brožová was born in Prague on May 11, 1975, a time when the horse chestnut trees were in full bloom. Born under the sign of Taurus, her arrival coincided exactly with the new moon.

She spent her childhood in the magical heart of Prague, yet she enjoyed her happiest moments with her grandparents in a woodland cabin, where she discovered her true home. To this day, the memory of those free, endless days of adventure and creativity remains a vital wellspring of inspiration for her.

Colored pencils accompanied her every step of the way, whether on a train journey or at the playground. She drew great inspiration from her mother, a multi-talented artist who created a fairy tale world for little Marie. Meanwhile, her grandfather, an architect and amateur astronomer, awakened in her a deep love for the mysteries of the universe.

Although little Marie looked like a fairy, she carried the heart of a warrior, finding conventional girlhood activities rather dull. While she was never short of companions, she always kept one foot firmly planted in the world of her imagination.
